Bitcoin (BTC) Mining Guide
Bitcoin (BTC) Mining Guide
Bitcoin is a digital asset originally proposed by Satoshi Nakamoto on November 1, 2008, and officially launched on January 3, 2009. Bitcoin is a decentralized network based on open-source software and Nakamoto’s ideas.
Bitcoin is an encrypted digital currency in a decentralized form. In this network, point-to-point transfer means a decentralized payment system.
Steps to mine Bitcoin
Step 1: Get a wallet address
Like any other asset, Bitcoin should be stored securely. There are two ways to get a wallet address: use a Bitcoin wallet, or use the wallet address provided by an exchange.
Step 2: Mining pool settings
1- Go to https://hintpool.com/ and click “Sign up” in the menu to create an account.

In the window that opens, you can sign up using a phone number or email. For example, for phone sign-up, enter your number, enter the verification code, and set a password to complete registration.

2- After registration, set your sub-account name (it is unique, and the pool uses it to identify your miners). Select the coin (BTC), choose the nearest region, and fill in your withdrawal address (see Step 1).

Step 3: Miner settings
For example, consider an Antminer.
1- The image below shows the Antminer interfaces.

Connect the yellow and black power cables to the hashboard (power cables have no fixed position). See the image below.

Then connect the network cable and power cable to the corresponding ports. See the image below.

3- Open the software and click “Start.” Then press and hold the IP Report button on the miner for one second and release. The software on your computer will retrieve the IP address.

4- Enter the IP address in your browser. You will be asked for a username and password. The default username and password are both “root.”

5- After logging in, find the general settings under the Miner Configuration tab. Enter the three mining addresses in Pool 1, Pool 2, and Pool 3 (choose the address based on the miner’s location).
6- Mining address:

During mining, the miner usually connects to the first address. If it fails, it will automatically connect to the second address, then the third, and so on. This helps prevent lost earnings.
Fill the three Worker fields with “sub-account name.miner number,” for example “btcminer.001”. You can choose any miner number to distinguish different miners.
Step 4: View miner status
You can check the miner’s real-time status in the Miner Status interface.

Step 5: View earnings
In the mining pool, you can view your earnings and miner status. To see real-time hashrate and earnings, go to the Dashboard.

To check active miner connections, go to the “Miners” page.
