Why does the rejection rate fluctuate?
The normal rejection rate is about 3%. It can fluctuate due to network issues, high miner temperatures, or firmware problems. For troubleshooting steps, use the link below.
What is the rejection rate?
In cloud mining, miners continuously receive work from the pool and return hash results. There is always some latency between miners and the pool network. Invalid shares caused by network delay are called the rejection rate.
What is the normal rejection rate? What if it is outside the normal range?
1- The normal rejection rate is around 3%.
2- If the rejection rate fluctuates widely, it may be caused by network instability. In that case, check the following:
- (1) Network connectivity
- (2) Miner temperature
- (3) Firmware issues
Hashrate and rejection rate can be affected by high miner temperatures, especially in summer.
Some miners may have a consistently high rejection rate due to firmware issues. In this case, consult your miner’s manufacturer.
Note: If your miner configuration and network connection are normal but the rejection rate is still high, please contact support and open a ticket.
How do I check the rejection rate?
1- Visit Hintpool.com, log in to your account, then click “Pool” in the menu.

2- Scroll down to the “Hashrate chart” section. There you can view hashrate and rejection rate for 10-minute, hourly, or daily periods.

(1) The left Y-axis shows hashrate for the blue curve, and the right Y-axis shows rejection rate for the black curve.
(2) Besides the curve, pay attention to the axis values.
