Why did my hashrate suddenly drop?

A sudden hashrate drop is usually caused by one of these:

Internet instability (packet loss, jitter, intermittent disconnects)

High latency to the pool node (routing issues / ISP congestion)

Miner reboot, firmware update, software crash, or watchdog resets

Increased Rejected or Stale shares

Thermal throttling (overheating) reducing effective performance
