Why did my hashrate suddenly drop?

A sudden hashrate drop is usually caused by one of these:

• Internet instability (packet loss, jitter, intermittent disconnects)

• High latency to the pool node (routing issues / ISP congestion)

• Miner reboot, firmware update, software crash, or watchdog resets

• Increased Rejected or Stale shares

• Thermal throttling (overheating) reducing effective performance

• Power issues (PSU instability, undervoltage, bad cables)

• Hardware degradation (hashboard errors, missing chips, failing fans)
